Will conspiracy theorist Brand return to his Community?

Relocated to Florida and posting claims Penelope Keith killed JFK, will the former comic come home for his own wellness festival?

Comedian turned anti-vaxx influencer Russell Brand caused hilarity for the first time in years when he briefly and mistakenly posted on social media what purported to be a leaked document from the JFK assassination files that claimed “the lone shooter… was Miss Penelope Keith, star of the BBC TV program The Good Life”.

Considerably less funny were Brand’s comments on the annual Covid Day of Reflection, held for the first time on March 9. Brand told viewers of his video blog that the commemorative event was the result of Keir Starmer “doing an AIDS test down his dicky-bird hole” and deciding the “UK needs a day of erection… I mean reflection”.Brand now lives in Florida, where he claims to have relocated because he is being shut down” by the UK “media, government and judiciary” – presumably a reference to well-publicised allegations of sexual assault against him,  over which he has not been charged and continues to deny.

It remains to be seen whether he will return to Britain for his wellness festival Community in July. Tickets for the event are still on sale via Brand’s website, priced at £210 without camping or car parking. The site says: “Russell Brand and friends will be back for 3 days of camping, conversation on spirituality, wellness, healthy living and our environment.”
